Timothy Byrnes, DMD

Dr. Tim grew up outside of Philadelphia. He attended Lafayette College for undergraduate studies in biology with a focus in bioengineering. At Temple University he completed his doctorate in dental medicine with honors. After finishing dental school he worked as a family dentist prior to pursuing specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The University of Connecticut School of Dentistry and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Thereafter he attained board certification in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Byrnes’ passion for giving back to communities and the environment led him to lead eco-adventure tours in Australia, Costa Rica, and the Pacific Northwest where he taught students about conservation and eco-tourism. He also volunteered in Thailand and the Dominican Republic, performing oral health screenings, giving oral health presentations, and providing dental care. In his free time he enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, and scuba diving.
